Finlandia’s Candida Herbal Formula is scientifically designed, utilizing traditional herbal medicine to help alleviate mild cases of fungal infections and infectious conditions of the digestive tract. Our Candida formula is complex: It is designed to not only clear the body of acute fungal infections, but also to heal the symptoms of systemic Candida albicans overgrowth such as mental fog, nerve disorders, digestive upset, lymphatic congestion, difficult mood swings, lazy immune system response and adrenal fatigue.
 
Traditionally some of the bitter herbs included in the formula are used to aid digestion, increase appetite, relieve digestive disturbances such as dyspepsia and reduce inflammatory conditions of the digestive tract such as gastritis.
 
The formula contains Gotu Kola, an Ayurvedic herb that grows in the Himalayas. This herb fortifies the immune system, supports the adrenal glands and relaxes the central nervous system. In conditions like systemic Candida albicans overgrowth where cognition is affected, the use of Gotu Kola can improve concentration, memory and alertness whilst helping to reduce stress. Since secondary fungal infections of the skin are common with systemic overgrowth, Gotu Kola is again useful. It is an anti-inflammatory, speeds wound healing and increases the rate of keratinization which helps strengthen the skin as a protective barrier.
